Former Charlotte Hornets and Boston Celtics star Kemba Walker is returning to the court this summer as a member of Ice Cube's BIG3 league. The point guard retired from the NBA in 2024, after constant knee injuries derailed his career.

Walker was on track to become a top player in his position before his body gave up and he couldn't be as consistent as before, going from playing 82 games in 2018-19, his last season with the Hornets, to just playing 145 matches from 2019 through 2023.

In July 2024, Walker returned to the Hornets with the role of a player enhancement coach.
