Jeremy Lamb and the Charlotte Hornets are Closing in on a Three-year extension

According to ESPN sources, the Charlotte Hornets and Jeremy Lamb are closing in on a three-year contract extension that will be in the $21 million range. This was first tweeted by Marc Stein of ESPN.

This is huge news for both the Hornets and Lamb. Lamb has only played two regular season games in a Charlotte Hornets uniform but he has already impressed the team and organization enough to give him an extension. A deal worth around $21 million over three years would give Lamb roughly $7 per year which might be a bargain with the new Collective Bargaining Agreement in the NBA and all of the new money that will be flowing in to teams.
