November 2 - Jayson Tatum scored 34 points and Jaylen Brown pumped in 25 as the Boston Celtics fended off the host Charlotte Hornets in a 124-109 victory Friday night.
Derrick White added 17 points, Jrue Holiday posted 14 points and Neemias Queta had 12 points as the Celtics responded from their overtime loss at Indiana on Wednesday -- their only setback this season. Tatum also pulled in 11 rebounds.
LaMelo Ball racked up 31 points and four assists to lead the Hornets. Tre Mann had 23 and Miles Bridges provided 14 points.
The Hornets knocked down 19 made 3-pointers, but Boston outscored Charlotte 29-6 at the free-throw line.
