The Boston Celtics paid a visit to Buzz City on Friday to take on the Charlotte Hornets looking to bounce back. The Cs took their first loss of the season on Wednesday in Indiana and needed to get back in the win column.
The Celtics broke open a close game in the fourth quarter as they outscored the Hornets 32-21 on their way to a 124-109 win on the road. Boston had trouble containing Hornets star LaMelo Ball, but buckled down late when it had to.
Jayson Tatum led Boston with 34 points and 11 rebounds in another strong effort while Jaylen Brown added 25 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
