Center Przemek Karnowski, who was a key player in Gonzaga’s Final Four run, and Davidson guard Jack Gibbs will be among six draft prospects working out for the Charlotte Hornets at Spectrum Center Wednesday.
Others scheduled to attend the Hornets’ first workout, in preparation for the June 22 NBA draft: Arizona’s Kadeem Allen, Wake Forest’s Austin Arians, Notre Dame’s V.J. Beachem and Louisville’s Mangok Mathiang.
The Hornets have the 11th overall pick in the first round and the 41st pick in the second round. These six players appear more likely to be candidates for second-round picks, rather than first-round picks.
