Hornets will not tender qualifying offer to Frank Kaminsky

Rod Boone of The Athletic reported today that the Charlotte Hornets will not extend a qualifying offer to center/power forward Frank Kaminsky.

Per a league source, #Hornets don't plan on extending a qualifying offer to Frank Kaminsky, which will make him an unrestricted free agent. Hornets don't have much cap space and currently have a logjam on their frontline after last week's draft.

Had the Hornets tendered Kaminsky his qualifying offer, they’d have the right to match any contract the four-year veteran signed with another team.
