Hornets will challenge Lakers' assessment of Mark Williams' physical

It looked like the Los Angeles Lakers had perhaps found their center of the future when they agreed to give up Dalton Knecht, Cam Reddish, an unprotected 2031 first-round draft pick and a 2030 pick swap for Mark Williams on Wednesday. Williams has shown plenty of promise in two seasons and change with the Charlotte Hornets, and he's averaging 15.6 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 25.0 minutes a game this season.

But he has missed quite a few games due to injury since coming into the NBA, and it was a concern among fans when the trade was announced.
