CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Hornets waived guard Isaiah Wong on Thursday, making the two-way player a free agent.

Wong appeared in 20 games for Charlotte this season, averaging 6 points and 13 minutes per game. Wong recorded 16 points per game with the Greensboro Swarm, the Hornets' G League affiliate.

He originally signed with the Hornets on Dec. 2, 2024. Wong was originally drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the second round of the 2023 NBA Draft. He appeared in just one NBA game for Indiana before signing with the Salt Lake City Stars.
