The Charlotte Hornets have suspended radio play-by-play voice John Focke indefinitely after he tweeted a racial slur on Monday.
In a now deleted tweet, Focke tweeted about the Utah Jazz-Denver Nuggets playoff game but used the N-word instead of Nuggets.
Focke tweeted an apology on Monday night saying he is unsure how that word was used and he takes "full responsibility."
Focke was hired by the Hornets in April of 2019 after his predecessor, Chris Kroeger, was dismissed by the team after less than a year on the job.
