The Charlotte Hornets have signed former Xavier guard J.P. Macura to a two-way contract. The 6’5 guard spent four seasons at Xavier and averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game last season, shooting 38 percent from 3.
Macura has a quick release with his jumpshot and can finish well at the rim with both hands. He works well off the ball as well, as he is able to cut to the basket and finish at the rim. He has good size to play both guard positions, though it appears he is more of a shooting guard.
