After a drawn out process, the Charlotte Hornets officially announced the signing of Julyan Stone, Wednesday afternoon.

Stone, 28, has spent the majority of his professional career overseas, but had two stints in the NBA with the Denver Nuggets and Toronto Raptors.

Along with the NBA, Stone played in the G-League, and Turkey. Last season, he helped Italian club Reyer Venezia Mestre win the 2017 Serie A title, appearing in 26 games.

The Hornets expressed interest in Stone this summer, but problems arose when Reyer Venezia wouldn’t release him from his contract.
