CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges will miss at least one game with a bruised right knee, the team announced on Thursday.
Bridges was hurt in Thursday's 108-107 win at home over the Detroit Pistons. An MRI revealed that Bridges suffered a bone bruise after hyperextending his right knee during the game. The Hornets ruled Bridges out for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. His status for any of the following games has not been released. The injury will be reevaluated in two weeks.
Bridges led the Hornets with 27 points in Thursday's game with 8 of 14 shooting from the field and converting all nine free throw attempts.
