CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte Hornets lost their second game in a week to the worst team in the Eastern Conference, the Washington Wizards.
Washington's Jordan Poole hit a 3-pointer with eight seconds left that proved the difference. Charlotte's Brandon Miller missed a 3-pointer with one second left. The Wizards (5-23) prevailed 113-110.
Charlotte (7-23) trailed by nine points to start the fourth quarter before three consecutive 3-pointers tied the game. Vasilije Micic and rookie Tidjane Salaun scored those points.
