Hornets former No. 2 overall pick catches strays during Celtics-Knicks

Social media can be a dark and scary place, especially when you're an NBA bust.

As the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics got the NBA season underway on Tuesday night, Knicks wing Mikal Bridges became the subject of disdain all over socials due to his allegedly broken jump shot.

Unfortunately, a former No. 2 overall pick of the Charlotte Hornets (then Bobcats) got looped into the shaming event aimed at Bridges.

Bridges has recently been open with the media about his struggles with his jumper form, and the mechanics are admittedly looking shaky. Bridges actually hit a few shots in a row by the time the second half rolled around on Tuesday, putting much of the online hate to bed.
