A four-game, All-Eastern Conference road trip ends tonight for the Charlotte Hornets when they face off against the Washington Wizards beginning at 7 PM EST at Capital One Arena.
Charlotte is coming off a 101-91 loss in Brooklyn on Wednesday night, during which the team shot a season-low 37.0% from the field (30-of-81). The Nets took full advantage of Cody Zeller and PJ Washington’s foul trouble, combining to shoot 78.3% in the restricted area (18-of-23), while holding the Hornets to just 36 paint points (18-of-45; 40.0% shooting).
“The ball’s got to move side to side, inside out, to put pressure on the defense,” said Coach Borrego afterwards.
