The Hornets went back to their old ways, digging themselves into a massive hole early. It took about four and a half minutes to get behind by double digits. It took another two and a half minutes to get behind by 15, 26-11. The Hornets closed the first quarter on a 12-4 run to cut into the deficit, with ten of those points coming from Frank Kaminsky and Jeremy Lamb.
