MIAMI – At a time when the Miami Heat rotation is as close to whole as it has been in weeks, center Bam Adebayo surfaced on the team’s injury report Saturday with a sprained left knee that has him listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Charlotte Hornets at Kaseya Center.
In the wake of Houston Rockers forward Amen Thompson landing on Adebayo’s knee during the second half of Friday night’s Heat loss, it appeared as if Adebayo might be unable to finish the game.
Instead, he made it to the close of what resulted in the Heat’s 10th consecutive loss, finishing with 16 points, six assists and six rebounds in 37:30.
