Memphis Grizzlies rookie Jaylen Wells was discharged from the hospital after a hard fall on Tuesday during a win over the Charlotte Hornets, according to Shams Charania of ESPN.

The incident occurred after Wells was undercut on a dunk attempt late in the second quarter by Hornets guard KJ Simpson, who was issued a Flagrant-2 foul and ejected from the game. Wells was taken off the court on a stretcher and would leave the arena in an ambulance.

Grizzlies interim coach Tuomas Iisalo said after the game that Wells suffered a broken wrist and had movement in his extremities.
