On night two of a road back-to-back versus Eastern Conference foes, the Houston Rockets didn't show many signs of fatigue in Monday's dominant 114-101 victory (box score) over the lowly Charlotte Hornets.
In an extremely uncompetitive game, Charlotte scored 70 of its points in the second half after trailing 62-31 at halftime. That made the final margin more respectable.
Houston (20-9) won at Toronto the previous night and is now 2-0 to start a three-game road trip. Third-year forward Tari Eason was again sidelined due to soreness in his surgically repaired lower left leg, while Dillon Brooks sat out Monday due to a sore right ankle.
