Former UConn men's basketball player James Bouknight will undergo knee surgery

Former UConn men's basketball player James Bouknight will undergo arthroscopic surgery Friday to address a meniscus injury in his left knee, according the Charlotte Hornets.

The team announced that the third-year guard suffered the injury in training camp practice on Oct. 5. Bouknight will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Bouknight competed for the Huskies from 2019 to 2021 where he became a two-time all-conference player.
