ESPN and Mo Williams‘ twitter say that the former Hornets point guard is returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers on a two-year $4.3 million deal.
The 32-year-old point guard was brought in by Charlotte mid-way through last season when Kemba Walker went down with injury. Williams played 27 games with the team and averaged 17 points a game to go along with 6 assists per game.
He was traded from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Charlotte Hornets last season for Gary Neal and a second round pick in 2019.
