Free agent forward and former Charlotte Hornet, Jeffery Taylor, is set to sign with Euroleague powerhouse, Real Madrid. According to reports from Shams Charania of RealGM, the two sides are “close in negations on a deal.”
Taylor has played for the Charlotte franchise for the past three seasons since he was drafted in 2012 by the team with the first pick in the second round and 31st overall.
The 26-year-old averaged 6.1 points per game and 2 rebounds per game over his three years in Charlotte. Taylor was never a star player for the Hornets but he did provide quality minutes off the bench and also started games for the team when he was asked to and filled in nicely at the wing positions.
