CHARLOTTE — Eric Gordon made an immediate difference in his return as the Phoenix Suns won 107-96 over the Charlotte Hornets before a crowd of 18,613 at Spectrum Center.
The veteran guard scored 14 points off the bench, hitting 4-of-8 from 3, after missing Phoenix’s last two games with a left knee contusion. All five starters reached double figures with Devin Booker scoring a team-high 21 points to go along with 11 assists in the second of a back-to-back after Thursday's loss at Boston, but Gordon gave the Suns (39-28) a boost off the bench against the Hornets (17-50).
