Portland Trail Blazers center Donovan Clingan returned from missing five games with a sprained left ankle at the perfect time.
The Blazers closed out a three-game trip Friday night at the Charlotte Hornets without the services of starting center Deandre Ayton (knee) and backup Robert Williams III (hand).
Clingan, making just his third start since Nov. 23, delivered four points, 13 rebounds, four assists and four blocked shots to help lead the Blazers to a 102-97 win.
“I was feeling good,” Clingan told reporters at the Spectrum Center.
