The Detroit Pistons will take on the Charlotte Hornets in their first game of a back-to-back of the new year.
Detroit will have to make some adjustments to its roster depth after Jaden Ivey suffered a broken fibula during Wednesday's 10-96 victory against the Orlando Magic. The injury occurred with about 10 minutes left into the fourth quarter when Magic guard Cole Anthony crashed into Ivey while attempting to recover a lose ball.
Tonight's matchup with the Hornets will third matchup of the season between these two teams. Charlotte holds a 2-0 record over Detroit this season, with both games coming within two points of victory.
