Detroit Pistons like what they see from Dennis Schröder in debut: 'He knows how to play'

Dennis Schröder's fit with the Detroit Pistons, at least on paper, appeared to be a straightforward one ahead of his debut on Super Bowl Sunday.

The initial signs during their 112-102 win over the Charlotte Hornets provided more evidence that this should be seamless. Schröder looked like a natural fit leading the second unit in the first half before knocking down one of the biggest shots of the day in the fourth, helping the Pistons pull away for the second-straight win after the Hornets whittled a 28-point lead down to two.

He played 15 minutes and finished with five points and three assists.
