The Charlotte Hornets have recently signed undrafted free agent, Sam Thompson, from Ohio State University to compete for a roster spot during the team’s training camp. the signing of Thompson gave the Hornets 17 guaranteed/partially-guarenteed contracts heading into training camp which is a little over a month away. This means that the team must cut two players after training camp to trim their roster to the league maximum of 15 when the regular season starts.
There are three players with partially guaranteed contracts for Charlotte and those players are Aaron Harrison, Elliot Williams, and Sam Thompson.
