Coby White had another memorable night in his home state, scoring a season-high 35 points as the visiting Chicago Bulls defeated the Charlotte Hornets 117-110 on Wednesday night.
White, from Goldsboro, N.C., had plenty of help as five of his teammates also scored in double figures, led by Nikola Vucevic with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Ayo Dosunmu had 16 points, DeMar DeRozan posted 15 points, and Alex Caruso and Andre Drummond each had 10 points.
The Bulls have swept three meetings with the Hornets in January, with White the top Chicago scorer in all of those games.
