There wasn’t any hint of concern in coach Tyronn Lue’s voice. No distress over losing a second consecutive game, no anxiety about a 37-point loss or alarm over the Clippers’ complete meltdown against the Boston Celtics.
In fact, Lue took a matter-of-fact approach to explaining how the Celtics launched 53 3-pointers, making 25, playing guards on centers and vice versa, plus dominating the boards in the Clippers’ 145-108 defeat on Saturday. He sounded like a coach who knows that these types of games happen.
The Clippers, who strung together nine consecutive victories, now have dropped consecutive games.
