CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- At the end of the season, if the Cleveland Cavaliers fail to make the Play-In Tournament, there will be a few games they look back on with regret. Friday being one.
The Cavs lost their composure -- and then the game to the Charlotte Hornets, 108-102, in J.B. Bickerstaff’s return to the sidelines following a one-game absence because of a personal matter.
Friday was the definition of throwing a game away. The Cavs shot 51.3% from the field and made 10 3-pointers. They had 27 assists on 41 made shots. Even held the Hornets to 42.
