The annual NBA G League Draft was held today at 1:00 pm.
The Salt Lake City Stars, the Jazz affiliate, selected big man Willie Reed with the number one overall pick.
From there, the Charlotte Hornets affiliate, Greensboro Swarm, held both the second and third pick.
Their first selection was Chinanu Onuaku, a big man who last played for the Houston Rockets during last year’s season.
He is seen as a menace down low as he is a well-footed defensive anchor in the paint. At 245 pounds, he has the physical tools to be a problem for opposing bigs trying to pay their way inside.
