October 11, 2016 – The Charlotte Hornets today announced they will once again award $50,000 for education-related projects in the Charlotte area this fall as part of the team’s education grant program. For the fourth consecutive year, the grants will fund high-need projects at public schools and nonprofit education programs in the Charlotte area.
Public schools (K-12) and all 501(c)(3) organizations that support public education within a 40-mile radius of Time Warner Cable Arena are eligible to apply for a grant at hornets.com/2016-17-education-grant-application. The application period is open now and will run until Friday, October 28.
