Jamal Crawford announced via Twitter that “Charlotte Hornets Spencer Hawes will be playing in the Seattle Pro-Am All-Star Game.” This is one of the biggest offseason basketball events held each summer as many NBA players are always involved. The only bigger one might be the Drew League in Los Angeles.
Hawes was born in Seattle, Washington and he is a native of the city. He also went to college at the University of Washington. Spencer has made the love for his home city clear throughout his NBA career.
