According to Jonathan Givony of ESPN, the Charlotte Hornets have signed J.P Macura to a two-way contract. The former Xavier guard went undrafted during the 2018 NBA Draft this year. Givony added that J.P. is a “tough, high IQ shot maker with a ton of game.”
It’s worth noting that Charlotte did host Macura for a pre-draft workout. Although he went undrafted, the 23-year old did workout for a number of teams including the Boston Celtics, the Detroit Pistons, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Phoenix Suns, the Sacramento Kings and the San Santonio Spurs prior to the draft.
