It has been reported by Spencer Percy of Queen City Hoops, an ESPN True affiliate, that Kemba Walker played over a month with a torn meniscus in his left knee. Spencer tweeted, “Source tells me that Kemba tore the meniscus in his left knee sometime around a month ago and decided to play the season out w/ injury.” The Charlotte Hornets’ point guard recently had surgery on May 9th to repair the injury. He decided to play through the injury for the remainder of the season.
Walker will be out for six to eight weeks after his surgery and should return to basketball activities in early July.
