Charlotte Hornets: Rich Cho Has His Work Cut Out for Him

With limited cap space, it won’t be easy for the Charlotte Hornets to improve their roster. Luckily for them, they have a lottery draft pick and a general manager who has been known to make some semi-blockbuster deals in the past. For the team to get out of mediocrity and back into the postseason, Rich Cho will need to work his magic this summer.

Charlotte’s cap situation is tricky. If they do every possible move like declining Ramon Sessions‘ team option, don’t re-sign Brian Roberts and renounce the rights to Johnny O’Bryant, Treveon Graham, Briante Weber and Christian Wood (which they shouldn’t because they are all on extremely cheap deals), the Hornets will be at around $101.
