The Charlotte Hornets have their sights set on Alabama forward Brandon Miller and plan to select him with the second pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, according to a report from both ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
That would leave point guard Scoot Henderson (G League Ignite) available for the Portland Trail Blazers to select at No. 3.
Or, the Blazers could trade the rights to Henderson to one of the various teams reportedly interested in his services.
The Hornets selecting Miller was the expectation at the start of the draft process in part because they already have a point guard in LaMelo Ball.
