The Charlotte Hornets are going to have a hard time re-signing Kemba Walker during this year’s free agency. Multiple teams are interested in him, and the Hornets are not trying their best to keep him.
Reports have indicated that Charlotte is trying to low-ball Walker with a 5-year $160 million deal. This is disrespectful and just proves that the Hornets are not taking Walker’s free agency seriously.
With these ridiculous offers to Walker, the Hornets are basically playing with fire. You would think owner Michael Jordan would be serious about keeping his franchise player, but he clearly must not be.
