When it comes to throwing down some fierce dunks, Charlotte Hornets rookie Miles Bridges has already become one of the best in the business in the NBA, and that will get him into the NBA’s Slam Dunk Contest.
Last year, Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell, who was a rookie at the time, was invited and won the Dunk Contest. He won’t be defending his NBA Slam Dunk Title this year, though. According to Eric Woodyard of Desert News, Mitchell is putting his focus on the second half of the season with the Jazz instead of the Dunk Contest.
