Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports and Bleacher Report are both reporting that Charlotte Hornets’ star small forward, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, is set to undergo shoulder surgery for the second time this season. He will miss the remainder of the season.
This surgery will be to repair a torn right labrum in his shoulder. This is the same labrum that he tore earlier in the year and already has surgery on. He missed the first 46 games of the season due to the injury.
He was set to miss six to eight months because of the shoulder surgery but instead made his return in only about three months.
