While watching the Charlotte Hornets get a win against a fellow Eastern Conference playoff threat in the Orlando Magic on Monday night was great, fans couldn’t help but feel bittersweet after the victory.
I say that because while the Hornets won the game, they lost Jeremy Lamb and Cody Zeller in the process. Lamb exited the game in the first quarter and did not return due to a right hamstring strain, while Zeller left the game in the third quarter with a fractured right hand.
Before leaving with injury, Lamb started the game on fire, scoring nine points on 4-4 shooting in nine minutes.
