Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is by no means the flashiest player, but boy is he effective. The Charlotte Hornets were able to defeat the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night, and the play of Kidd-Gilchrist was a major reason why.
It was arguably his best performance of the season. The seven-year veteran out of Kentucky finished with 15 points, which tied a season-high. He added two rebounds and two steals in 30 minutes of action.
MKG was, of course, active on the defensive end of the floor as well, like always. He’s gained a reputation for being one of the better perimeter defenders in the league over the years, and you could see why last night.
