The Charlotte Hornets‘ training camp is underway and Kemba Walker has finally been cleared for full-contact drills. Before Day Four of the team’s training camp began, the Hornets’ PR tweeted that the point guard “was back on the court vs. full contact as he participated in his first @hornets practice of the season today.” This is some of the best injury news that Charlotte has had in some time.
The 26-year old point guard has been recovering from knee surgery that he had earlier this summer. The procedure was to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and was expected to keep him sidelined for 6-8 weeks but the team has been careful and cautious during his return.
