On Thursday night, Charlotte Hornets’ star Kemba Walker, was announced as a starter for the NBA’s All-Star game next month. This selection to the All-Star game is his third of his career and his first as a starter.
The Hornets have only had two players in franchise history who have started in an All-Star game; those players are Larry Johnson and Eddie Jones. For Walker, this is a huge honor to receive for the Hornets with the All-Star game being played in Charlotte this year,
With this selection, Walker will be joining the East’s other All-Star starters: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kyrie Irving, Joel Embiid, and Kawhi Leonard.
