The Charlotte Hornets have made yet another addition to their training camp roster by inviting 7’0 big man, Jason Washburn, to join the team’s training camp. The news was first reported by Sportando and confirmed by Charlotte Observer beat writer, Rick Bonnell.
Washburn went undrafted out of Utah in 2013 and has played professionally in Belgium since. He was no a draft prospect when he came out of college two years ago because of the lack of rebounding at his size.
This now gives the Hornets a total of 18 players for their training camp roster. The team has 14 fully-guaranteed contracts and three partially-guaranteed contracts for training camp.
