Well, Hornet season is here, and it’s not quite the start we were all hoping for. Unless you’re a Miami Heat fan, then parts of this game upset you. The Hornets trailed early and often during the whole game, and never managed to put together the same formula that brought success during preseason.
For starters, P.J. Hairston was given the starting Small Forward position. That in itself is a move that no one predicted because it didn’t exactly make much sense. P.J. Hairston, who’s in his 2nd year in the NBA, doesn’t exactly scream starter potential. Since his play last year and preseason has been underwhelming, it was a bit of a head scratcher to see him start.
