The Charlotte Hornets may have an answer to their defensive woes at the center position after a recent Instagram story by Hassan Whiteside. This rumor comes after Whiteside posted a picture of a Hornets’ team van, possibly hinting his interest in joining the team.
Whiteside is a North Carolina native who is originally from Gastonia. His hometown is about thirty minutes from Charlotte. If he is interested in the Hornets, he would be a lot closer to home than where he currently is with the Miami Heat.
Based off of All U Can Heat’s report on Whiteside, author Kenneth Wilson stated that he is basically begging to join the Hornets.
