The Charlotte Hornets came into Sunday’s game hoping for an easy win over the Memphis Grizzlies. During the game’s broadcast, Eric Collins of Fox Sports Southeast stated that the Hornets have not lost in Memphis since 2014.
Charlotte started this one poor by shooting as low as 29% from the field at one part during the game. The Hornets could not get anything to fall in the first quarter, and they barely survived in the second quarter that ended in Memphis leading 56-46.
After halftime, the Hornets would get within five points, but the team could not play defense.
