The Charlotte Hornets got some amazing news after Martin Luther King Jr. Day as their star forward, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, has been cleared to return to full-contact practice with the team. There is no timetable for his return.
Michael is coming off of shoulder surgery that has caused him to miss every game this season so far. He dislocated his shoulder on October 3rd in a preseason game against the Orlando Magic. He later had an MRI that revealed a torn labrum in his right shoulder.
This meant that Kidd-Gilchrist would need to have right shoulder surgery to repair his torn labrum and he was expected to miss six to eight months after the surgery.
