Louisville’s Donovan Mitchell and Australian pro Terrance Ferguson, two viable candidates for the Charlotte Hornets’ No. 11 overall draft pick, are scheduled to audition at Spectrum Center Monday.
Also, invited to the six-player workout: UCLA’s Bryce Alford, Nevada’s Cameron Oliver, Florida’s Devin Robinson and Nebraska’s Tai Webster.

Mitchell, at 6-3, played mostly shooting guard at Louisville, but might play some point guard in the NBA. He was one of college basketball’s better perimeter defenders last season, taking advantage of his 6-10 wingspan; extraordinary for his height.
